Banking & Payments Technology Conference Ends.

The Banking & Payments Technology Conference came to an end on 19th February. The well attended event attracted over 320 delegates and was houseful for most of the conference sessions. There were over 38 local and international exhibitors.

Paynet Group and Safaricom were lead sponsors of the event, which had a total of 67 speakers spread over the 3 days.

Speaking at the close of the event, Paynet’s Group Managing Director noted that the high attendance was clear proof of the support the event had received and acknowledged the effort by the organizers, AITEC Africa, in putting together relevant topics suitable to the market.

Jointly with Safaricom, Paynet Group run a raffle promotion giving away a laptop, blackberry and internet modems to winning delegates.

Karimi Ithau, Paynet’s Business Development General Manager congratulates Dennis Nyakundi, Citi’s Product Manager of Global Transactions Services for winning the grand prize of a laptop in the conference’s Win with Paynet and Safaricom Promotion. Other winners got a blackberry and 3G Modems sponsored by Safaricom.
