New Appointment

The Paynet Group welcomes Mr Steve Evans who will be responsible for the group project and risk portfolios.

Mr Evans has more than 24 years experience in software development, coding, testing, integration and change management. He has specialised in the delivery of software projects, particularly those of secure systems to the financial services sector in the US and Europe and will utilise these skills, expertise and knowledge acquired for all the Paynet group companies.

Additionally, the Paynet Group embarked on the PCI DSS compliance journey a couple of years ago.

The `'Payment Card Industry, Data Security Standard'' is a global standard aimed at protecting card data at all points of its life cycle. Paynet secured the services of an international QSA audit firm and has been on a quarterly network audits and onsite audits for 3 years.

Those experts and operators in the card industry will appreciate the complexity of this compliance and the stringent requirements to achievement and Mr Evans is well positioned to lead the Group to fulfil its compliance.
