2008 Banking Technology Conference

This year's Banking Technology Conference, held over 28 th March – 1 st April attracted 76 speakers, over 90 delegates and 31 local and international exhibitors.

Sharing Knowledge and Best Practises in Banking Technology was this year's theme and had the expert speakers talking about a wide range of topics from e-payment solutions, money laundering, security strategies, the role of technology in banking the un-banked, amongst others.

The event kicked off with a cocktail reception hosted by the British High Commissioner to Kenya , Adam Wood, at the High Commission in honour of the conference speakers.

Honourable Samuel Pogishio, Kenya 's Minister for Information and Communication officiated the conference opening ceremony.
